Just… wrong. The platform that will capture the mobile platform crown will be the one to attract the best developers and the most passionate (and numerous) users. The ability to ship on a billion phones at launch doesn’t matter if your customers aren’t interested. (Witness: J2ME, Brew.) And one need only look at the unsightly state of Windows shareware development to see what having the ‘most developers’ looks like.
