    The Wii will not be able to meet holiday demand - Ars Technica

    As fantastic (and innovative) as Nintendo is, I certainly hope that heads are rolling over this supply issue. Most of the hardware is of the same generation as the previous Gamecube, and not complicated (or expensive) to manufacture. Is it a supplier issue? Are they unable to pump out the motion sensors (probably the only non-commodity component) in sufficient quantity? If it is another component, have they not been working to silently replace those that are sufficiently generic (as Microsoft constantly does with its XBox 360?)
